UNESCO World Heritage Sites

One of our UNESCO World Heritage Sites

The project is a traditional Georgian tenement building in Edinburgh’s prestigious New Town in the heart of the City. New Town of Edinburgh World Heritage Site was inscribed on the World Heritage List in 1995.
According to The Old and New Towns of Edinburgh World Heritage Site MANAGEMENT PLAN 2011-2016, “UNESCO requires all World Heritage Sites to have a #managementplan or documented management system in place. This ensures that the special qualities which make it important (the outstanding universal value) are protected and enhanced. It is also the policy of the Scottish Government that all Scottish World Heritage Sites should develop management plans which set a framework for the protection, promotion and enhancement of the sites. It is recommended that these are updated every five years”
We’re nearly there. This is one of our favourite projects!
