As you all know, at Heritage Masonry Scotland we work very hard to keep “history alive”. We strongly believe that it takes very little effort to preserve the past and the present in order to build an improved future. We are strong advocates that by educating anybody who owns a historic or listed building, or anyone, who’s interested in learning and preserving old trades alive, we can build an army of masonry apprentices which can take care of their properties, correctly.

Drumsheugh has been a contract that has demanded all the skills our company’s tradesmen specialises. From stone indenting, lime mortar works to complete new build.

A year and a half later, we are near to complete the best example of restoring Edinburgh townhouses by our client and contractor Sundial Developments, headed by William Graymuir for over 20 years … where does the time go…
